The character login screen hadn't been significantly updated in about ten years. The fact that it's the first screen to meet players (both new and legacy) made it an important starting point for bringing the LOTRO UI forward, in terms of usability and fidelity. While simplifying the layout to a more austere and logical arrangement, we kept the dimensionality and intricacy of the decoration and framework to maintain stylistic cohesion. |
