1/1/2017 - Present - Standing Stone Games

Senior UI Artist - Responsibilities Include:

Wireframe design, asset creation, and asset implementation for Lords of the Realm Online UI and Dungeons and Dragons UI, including new UI systems and updating of legacy systems including shell/wrapper, in-game HUD, and game map updates.

Creation of all new marketing materials for LOTRO, DDO and SSG marketing needs including expansion logos, content update splash screens and text treatments

Senior UI Artist - Responsibilities Include:

Wireframe design, asset creation, and asset implementation for Infinite Crisis and Game of Thrones: Conquest

 

3/10/08 - 5/30/2014 - Harmonix Music Systems

Senior Artist - Responsibilities include:

Graphical design and production of all shell/wrapper UI for Fantasia: Music Evolved including menu systems, special FX, and information displays

Graphical design and production of all HUD systems for Rock Band Blitz, including all instrument tracks, track overlays, gems, smasher FX, scoring systems, powerup graphics, and game fonts.

Development and production of all HUD systems for Dance Central, one of the first titles for Microsoft's Kinect motion sensor platform, including the flashcard HUD and move icons, the boom box multiplier/star counter, the move feedback spotlight, photo scoring, fitness HUD, and Break It Down HUD. Directed the work of junior artists in the production of additional HUD graphics.

Graphical development and production of all HUD systems for The Beatles Rock Band, including instrument tracks, track gems, new Vocal Harmony HUD, scoring systems, HUD FX, and graphical authoring for the tutorial and practice mode components.

 

1/20/03 – 3/7/08 - Tilted Mill Entertainment

Senior Artist - Responsibilities include:
 
Design and production of all user interface graphics for Sim City Societies, Caesar IV, and Children of the Nile. Components developed for these titles include: front-end screens, in game menus, icons, dialog panels, working logos, as well as a complete and original Truetype font

Conceptualized, planned, and produced in-game graphics for Caesar IV, Children of the Nile, and Hinterland including statues, buildings, terrain objects, and character texture maps

 

2/5/96 – 1/17/03 - Sierra On-Line, Impressions division

Senior Game Artist - Responsibilities include:
 
Planned, documented, and implemented technical and conceptual art systems for Lords of the Realm III including the castle construction and destruction systems and the character movement and combat system.

Conceptualized, planned, and oversaw creation of graphics for Testament, aka Tales of Darkness:Vampires in Manhattan (unreleased). Became fluent with in-house development tools including dialog editors, sprite builders, and job tracking tools. Interacted extensively with designers and programmers.

Conceptualized and modeled low and hi-resolution characters, props, and look and feel for Lords of the Realm III, Lords of the Realm II, SeaWars (unreleased), Lords of Magic, and Zeus.

Created in-game character animation sequences for all characters for Lords of the Realm III, storyboarded and animated 3D cinematic scenes, game introduction sequences, and animated sprites using 3D Studio MAX for Lords of the Realm II.

Created graphics, tile sets, and interface elements using Photoshop, Illustrator, and 3D Studio for Lords of the Realm II, Lords of Magic, Caesar III, Pharaoh, and Zeus.


2/1/90 - 1/31/96 - Lotus Development

Graphic Designer II - Responsibilities include:
 
Conceptualized and produced clip animations for Freelance for Windows, help system animations for 1-2-3 for Windows Multimedia R1 & R4, and the 1-2-3 for Windows Multimedia R4 interactive guided tour.

Created conceptual illustration using a variety of traditional and digital media for:   documentation sets including 1-2-3 for Macintosh R1, Symphony R3, and Improv R1; product packaging art including 1-2-3 for DOS, Ami Pro, Organizer, cc:Mail, Improv, Freelance, SmartPics, ScreenCam, and Approach; promotional materials including the Lotus Achievers' Club invitation and brochure ('92 & '93), the Lotus  Education brochure ('93), and the Lotus SmartSuite specsheet ('93).

Created graphics and animations for several Lotus website projects.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

Advanced knowlege of 3D Studio MAX, Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, and Painter.
Working knowlege of Flash, Dreamweaver, FontLab, Excel, and Word.

Co-inventor listed on 7 patents related to the HUD UI systems for the Dance Central motion gaming franchise
